Training Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases, enrollments, access rights, participation, and use of any training course, certification program, lab environment, or instructional material provided by White Knight Labs (“WKL”). By completing a purchase or accessing WKL materials or systems, the Student acknowledges and accepts these Terms in full. Students are responsible for reviewing these Terms prior to purchase and prior to beginning any training activity.

Eligibility and Account Requirements

Enrollment is limited to the individual who completes the purchase. All account information, registration details, and authentication credentials must be accurate and must belong to the Student. Access cannot be shared, transferred, or assigned to any other person or entity. Students must meet any stated prerequisites or technical requirements. WKL is not responsible for a Student’s inability to complete training due to lack of prerequisite knowledge or inability to operate required software or tools.

Purchase Policy

All sales are final. Once a Student completes a purchase, no refunds, credits, returns, or exchanges will be issued for any reason. This includes changes in schedule, inability to attend, technical limitations, dissatisfaction with content, or any personal circumstance. Purchases may not be transferred to another course or substituted for a different product.

Courses include lifetime updates for the specific course purchased. Lifetime updates apply only for as long as WKL maintains the course. Once WKL determines that a course has reached the end of its lifecycle and is discontinued, no further updates will be provided. By purchasing a course, the Student agrees and accepts that course lifecycles may end at any time and that updates will cease when the course is deemed retired by WKL.

All products and services are sold as is. Not all courses contain the same volume, pace, or type of content. Development timelines, release schedules, and content update cycles may vary. Delays in content updates, development issues, or release timing do not constitute grounds for refund or compensation.

In exceptional circumstances, and only at the sole discretion of WKL, a partial refund may be considered. If granted, the Student is responsible for all payment processor fees, gateway fees, administrative charges, or any other associated costs. These fees will be deducted from any approved refund amount.

Access windows, course durations, lab access periods, exam windows, and expiration dates provided at the time of purchase are final. Expired access will not be extended unless WKL offers an official paid extension option.

Payment Terms and Chargebacks

By completing a purchase, the Student agrees that all payments are valid and authorized. Any attempt to reverse, dispute, or charge back a transaction without prior written communication with WKL will be treated as a violation of these Terms.

In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute, all access to courses, labs, exams, and materials will be immediately revoked. All previously earned certifications will be void. The Student will be permanently banned from all future WKL products and services. The Student is responsible for any financial losses, fees, or penalties resulting from the attempt to dispute the charge. WKL reserves the right to pursue collection or legal action for fraudulent or abusive payment disputes.

Use of Training Materials

All materials provided by WKL, including documents, videos, lab guides, source code, virtual machines, exam materials, lab environments, exercises, tools, and any other digital or physical resources, are the exclusive property of WKL. Students receive a non-transferable license for individual use only.

Training materials may not be copied, shared, reproduced, distributed, uploaded, posted, published, or made available to any third party in any form. Student credentials for portals, labs, exams, downloads, or communication channels must remain confidential and may not be shared.

Acceptable Use and Legal Compliance

WKL training teaches offensive security concepts and tools for authorized, legal, educational purposes. Students are required to use all tools and techniques only within WKL controlled lab environments or on systems they personally own or have explicit written authorization to test. WKL does not permit or authorize any illegal or unauthorized security testing. Any misuse of tools or techniques is the sole responsibility of the Student.

Technical Requirements and Student Responsibility

Students are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate hardware, software, administrative access on their system, stable internet connectivity, and the ability to install required tools or virtualization platforms. WKL is not responsible for technical issues caused by a Student’s environment, including firewalls, VPNs, restrictive corporate devices, unsupported hardware, or system limitations.

Conduct and Community Behavior

Students must behave professionally in all WKL communication channels, including Slack, Discord, email communications, and interactions with instructors or support. Harassment, abusive conduct, or disruption of the learning environment may result in removal from the course without refund.

Exam Integrity

Exams, lab challenges, and assessment materials must not be disclosed, copied, reverse engineered, or discussed outside of WKL authorized channels. Unauthorized collaboration, distribution of exam solutions, or attempts to manipulate exam infrastructure is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to bypass exam rules or compromise exam platforms will result in immediate and permanent enforcement action.

Violations and Enforcement

WKL maintains a strict zero tolerance policy for unauthorized sharing or distribution of its materials. Any Student found sharing, distributing, or making available WKL materials will face immediate and permanent enforcement actions including revocation of all certifications issued by WKL, permanent banning from all future WKL courses and products, and permanent blocking of future purchases.

WKL may report violations to other cybersecurity training vendors, certification bodies, partners, and organizations. WKL reserves the right to pursue civil or legal action in response to unauthorized distribution or infringement of its intellectual property.

Suspension and Termination of Access

WKL reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Student’s access to any course, lab, exam, or platform at its sole discretion if the Student violates these Terms, engages in suspicious activity, or poses a security risk. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances.

Limitations of Liability

WKL provides training environments for educational use. WKL is not responsible for misuse of tools, techniques, or methodologies taught during training. The Student is solely responsible for ensuring that all activities comply with applicable laws.

WKL does not guarantee job placement, exam success, skill mastery, or any specific outcome.

WKL is not liable for downtime, service interruptions, or delays caused by cloud platforms, third party services, hosting environments, or other external providers.

Disclaimer of Warranties

All training content, labs, platforms, and materials are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. Warranties of performance, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

The Student agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WKL, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from the Student’s misuse of training content, violation of these Terms, or engagement in unauthorized or illegal activities.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States of America. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located within Pennsylvania.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between WKL and the Student regarding training participation and supersede any prior discussions or representations.

Amendments

WKL may modify or update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect immediately upon publication. Continued access to WKL materials after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
